We are pleased to inform that Mr Piotr R. Graczyk was once again sworn in as an arbitrator in the Court of Arbitration for Sport at the Polish Olympic Committee. The forth term of office of the Court, of which Mr Graczyk is a member, will cover the years 2024 – 2027. At the same time, Mr Graczyk was elected the Secretary of the Court what means that he will hold this significant position for the third time in the Court’s Council.

The Court of Arbitration for Sport resolves disciplinary disputes that arise between athletes and Polish sports associations. Complaints against final disciplinary decisions of sports associations are submitted to the Court. The Court is also an arbitration court which operates on the principles set out in the Code of Civil Procedures.

As a body with its statutory basis in the Act on Sports, the Court operates at the Polish Olympic Committee but enjoys full autonomy and independence in carrying out its tasks.
